The world of the future will be integrated in two ways: the polarities will be integrated and so will the races, including a variety of extraterrestrial races. Let's look first at what it would mean to live in a world where the polarities are integrated.

You already know what this will be like somewhat because some of you have already integrated the polarities within yourselves. That is where global integration begins: within. Integration on an emotional level means accepting your dark side, your shadow. It means accepting all your “nasty” emotions for what they are—messages about your needs.
其實你們已經對整合有了些許的瞭解，因為你們中一些人已經於自我的內在整合了極性。而這（內在），正是全球整合開始的地方。在情緒層面的整合意味著接受你們的陰暗面，接受你們的「影子」。那意味著：接受你們所有「下流」的情緒，將其看做是－（提醒）你們（精神或物質）需求－的訊息。

Denying your needs leads to depression, anger, resentment, and outbreaks of violence. You now realize that denying anger creates a backlash of violence and hatred, which fuel the cycle of negativity on Earth. Although all negativity will not be erased entirely from your planet, or any planet operating through polarities, the negative pole need not be as prominent as it is today. An integrated society will have less negativity than what exists on Earth today.
否定（或壓制）你們的需求會導致沮喪、憤怒、怨恨以及暴力的發洩。你們現在已經意識到，對憤怒的否定將形成暴力和仇恨的反彈，這助長了地球負面性的循環。在地球或任何尚未整合極性的星球，負面性即使不會被完全清除，也不至於像如今那樣突出。（總結來說）一個整合的社會的負面性將少於今天的地球。（譯註：這段說的很清楚，我們的負面極性不應被壓制，而應該被適當引導從而削弱，一個整合的社會並不是完全沒有負面的存在）

Through the cycle of violence—that is, violence breeding more violence—negativity is not only perpetuated but multiplied. This is how the negative pole comes to dominate, as in serviceto-self planets. But a cycle of love also is possible: love begets more love. The cycle of love does not eliminate (nor deny) the negative pole any more than the cycle of violence eliminates the positive pole. In an integrated society, the negative pole is balanced against the positive pole, and exists as a foil and a learning device. That is the appropriate role for negativity. Likewise, even on a service-to-self planet, the positive pole remains as a reminder and a call to another kind of action. Thus, both poles remind the other of other possibilities. The presence of these two possibilities gives you a choice of lifestyle: the cycle of violence or that of love.

The cycle of violence is painful, unless you are the oppressor. And even so, the tables are bound to be turned sometime. The cycle of love is always joyful. Why would anyone choose the painful path then? The only ones who willingly choose this are self-servers because they believe happiness lies in controlling others. However, they are no more happy on this path than their victims, except perhaps fleetingly. The happiness they experience is an illusion because it does not come from alignment with the Creator. Self-servers believe they have achieved happiness because they have nothing else to compare it to; they don't know the joy of love.

Furthermore, they will never learn this on their own; the servers will teach them this through the process of integration. Through this process, self-servers learn the role that evil and negativity play for all creation. They learn that it is part of creation, not the whole of it, and they eventually choose to serve. Nevertheless, there will always be others, usually unevolved souls, who will play the part of negativity for a while. So, the only difference between an integrated or integrating society and a service-to-self society is the degree of negativity that exists and the power it has.

Once you have integrated your shadow self, others who have not will be reminders of this side of yourself. Therefore, you will be forced to continue to acknowledge and accept it. In an integrated society, self-servers act as reminders to integrate. However, in your world, which is trying to integrate, you have too often denied your shadow side or, worse still, expressed it through war and other collective acts of hatred.
一旦你們整合了自己的陰暗面，那些沒有整合的個體將作為（反面教材）時刻提醒你們。因此，你們將不得不繼續瞭解並接受它。在整合的社會中，服務自我者擔當整合的催化劑。不過，在你們這個正嘗試整合的星球上，對自己的陰暗面已經有了太多的否定，更糟糕的是，你們將這陰暗面－通過戰爭和其他仇恨的集體行為－表達出來。

An integrated society also will have the feminine and masculine qualities integrated. Both the masculine and feminine will be revered and balanced within the individual and within society. This will lead to compassionate (feminine) action (masculine) and intuitively guided (feminine) reason (masculine). Today your world is learning to value the feminine. Tomorrow's world will use the best qualities of both the masculine and the feminine to build a balanced society. As you balance these polarities within you, they will become balanced within your societies.
一個整合的社會同樣將男性和女性的品質進行了整合。這兩種品質都將在個人層面和社會層面上被尊重和平衡。這將（我們的心智）通向（女性）富於同情與（男性）富於行動的結合以及（女性）直覺引導與（男性）理性思考的結合。如今，你們的社會正逐漸重視女性品質。未來的世界將利用男性和女性的最佳品質來共同建造一個平衡的社會。當你們從內在平衡了極性，這兩種品質便會在你們的社會中得到平衡。

An integrated society will be balanced in all respects. For instance, work will be balanced with rest or recreation, and time with family will be balanced with time with community. Moreover, time will be allotted for everything that is required for balance and health: fun, creativity, work, family, friends, community, rest, eating, intellectual stimulation, physical activity, and spirituality.
一個整合的社會，在任何方面都是平衡的。例如，工作和娛樂的平衡，家庭和社區的平衡。此外，時間將被用於滿足一切對平衡和健康的需求：如樂趣、創新、工作、家庭、朋友、社區、休息、飲食、智力刺激、生理啟動以及靈性體驗等等。

It is even possible to lead a balanced life today. You already recognize the need for these things and their need to be balanced. You just have to learn to balance them within yourselves and create a society that honors this. It is easy to blame society for your imbalances. But society can only be changed by the individuals who make it up, often by joining together, but nevertheless by individuals.
甚至，（你們）可以從今天就開始走向平衡。你們已經意識到（自己對）這些事物的需求和達成平衡的必要。你們必須學會從內在平衡它們，並構建一個以平衡為導向的社會。將自己的不平衡歸咎於社會很容易。但只有組成社會的每個人團結起來（而不是分別行動），才能促成它的改變。

This is why a shift in consciousness is so important to integration. Only as a result of a shift in consciousness will you demand a more balanced lifestyle. When you, yourselves, change inside, society will change. What will change you? Besides the influx of higher energy that you are receiving, pain will. Pain will cause you to question your current lifestyle and look for new ways to organize your lives and rebuild your societies. So, pain serves you in your transition to an integrated world.
