When you make the broad intention you would like to experience more of a certain energy, the universe immediately begins to cooperate with you having that experience. You participate by being willing to be guided in that direction by following the signs and synchronicities and the path that opens up in front of you, even if you are not sure exactly where it is taking you.

It might help to think of it this way. If you just sit on a bicycle but don't pedal, you tip over and don't get anywhere. You have to get into movement in order to find your balance, learn new skills, and make new discoveries. You can't guide something that isn't willing to move!

Second, it doesn't work because it is trying to create solely from your mind, and your greatest creations come from the guidance of your heart and the beckoning of your soul. Those are the parts of you that know your fullest potentials and have an entire team of helpers to assure your success!
