It's Metaphysical Monday! Today's question is：Does shining my light make me a target of the darkness?

This is one of the belief systems that many people buy into. I even believed it myself, long ago at the beginning of my spiritual journey. All that did was make me fearful and hesitant to trust where my soul was calling me to go.
這是許多人信奉的信仰體系之一。很久以前，在我的靈性之旅開始初期，我自己也是擁有這樣的信念。一切都讓我感到恐懼和猶豫，我不敢信任自己靈魂召喚我去的地方。

As I learned and understood more, it has become one of the beliefs that actually offends me the most, because not only is it not true (and technically impossible), it was a teaching that had one purpose only and that was to keep people disempowered and too afraid to step into their own authentic power.

Let's think this through for a minute. Have you ever seen the dark corners of a room jump out and snuff out a candle? Of course not! We all know that light instantly dispels darkness. So if the darkness was invested in preserving itself, it would not go near the one thing that could make it cease to exist. It would avoid it at all costs in its desire to perpetuate itself.
讓我們仔細考慮一下。你是否見過房間的黑暗能夠熄滅蠟燭？當然不能！我們都知道，光能瞬間驅散黑暗。因此，如果黑暗想要保護自己，那麼它就不會想要接近可以使其不復存在的事物。為了使自己永存，它將不惜一切代價避免它。

The only way such a disempowering belief system can affect us is if we give our power away to it, so let that old fear go once and for all! Shine brightly and beautifully and gloriously for all to see. There is nothing to fear, in fact, allowing the luminosity of your soul to lead the way forward is exactly what you are here to do. Not only will it light the way to your highest life expression, it will serve the planet beautifully, as well. As we dispel all these old myths we pave new pathways forward that are simply exciting and empowering and far easier to embrace.
