Chinese intelligence contacted us to correct and clarify what we wrote about fired Foreign Minister Qin Gang and Defense Minister Gen Li Shangfu.

Qin was fired because he had an inappropriate relationship with a Hong Kong reporter who is believed to be an MI6 asset. He is being ordered to write a letter of contrition and may be eventually rehabilitated.
秦剛之所以被解雇，是因為他與一名被認為是軍情六處的香港記者有不當的關係。他被要求寫悔過書，並可能最終被恢復職務。
General Li was fired to take responsibility for"disorder"at the People's Liberation Army Rocket Force.
