第十六節：前景展望

Before closing this chapter, we want to make a few points about the significance of these times. You have learned that your race is on the brink of destruction. You would never be in this mess if you were not living from third-density consciousness. So, the solution is to raise your consciousness. This will not be enough, however. Yes, it will stop the destruction because you will make different choices. But you have already set in motion damages that will not disappear with a shift in consciousness. The damage, which could make Earth uninhabitable to you, higher consciousness or not, must be repaired. You have set in motion circumstances that will change the climate and the land masses. If this doesn't make Earth uninhabitable, it will at least turn economies upside down and unsettle your societies. Yes, we have every faith you will eventually reestablish more humane and ecologically sound communities. However, we also are deeply concerned about the short-term, as you should be.

If Earth's overall temperature increases appreciably, the distribution of water on your planet will change. Whether you realize it or not, civilization is now and always has been founded on the availability of water. As human beings, you need water. In times to come, you will realize the importance of water to civilization, to productivity, to health, and to well-being. Not only will you realize your water is limited, but that it is poisoned. Extraterrestrials can help you with this dilemma; but they cannot instantaneously rebuild your socioeconomic structures, cure those whose bodies are already full of contaminants, and make you live in peace with each other — although they will try.

Raising your consciousness is essential if you are to change your ways and lead happy lives amidst the travail of the coming decades. Raising your consciousness will allow you to live with peace, kindness, hope, and determination to build a better world. Without a shift in consciousness, the next decades would be full of misery. With a shift in consciousness, they will be enlightening. So, we are not contradicting ourselves when we speak of a coming Golden Age or of a better world even in the near future. Even in the near future, the world will be infinitely better in many respects.
提升你們的意識是必不可少的，如果你們想要改變你們的道路，以及在未來幾十年的辛勞陣痛之中過上幸福生活的話。提升你們的意識將會讓你們過上和平、友好、有希望的生活，並且決心去建立一個更加美好的世界。如果在意識上沒有提升，那麼未來的幾十年將會充滿苦難。通過意識上的提升，這些將會讓人領悟。所以，當我們談到在不遠的將來，所即將到來的黃金時代，或是一個更加美好的世界的時候，並非是我們自相矛盾。就算是在不遠的將來，世界也將會在很多方面變得無比美好。

In times to come, you will live by spiritual values again. In your pain, you will come to know God as you have never known God. You will see the role pain plays in your happiness and how it serves your growth. Happiness is not born from money or fame or even ease, but from experiencing the richness of life, which may not be possible until you have lost what you love. In losing what you love—pure water, clean air, animals, trees—you will come to appreciate the preciousness of these things. Regaining them will make you all feel like kings.
在未來的歲月之中，你們將再次生活在靈性的價值觀之中。在你們的痛苦之中，你們將認識到神－就彷彿你們從來都不知道神一樣。你們將會明白，在你們的幸福之中，痛苦所扮演的角色，以及它是如何服務於你們的成長。幸福並非來自於金錢、名譽或者甚至是安逸，而是來自於體驗生命之豐盛，這（種體驗）也許不可能得到，除非你們已經失去了你們所愛的。在失去了你們所愛之物－純淨的水、清潔的空氣、動物們、樹木們－的情況下，你們才會開始懂得這些事物的寶貴。重新恢復它們，會讓你們所有人都感覺像國王一樣。

During this time of challenge and transformation, you will be given the spiritual understanding you need to see the silver lining of this cloud. You will be given the strength and the hope you need because you will be given a vision of what is to come, a vision in which you all can believe and for which you all will be willing to work. This vision of a new life—a new world—will be the essence of your happiness in the times ahead. In many respects, that will be all you will have after losing your old way of life.

The next five chapters describe in greater detail who is here to help and who is here to hinder, and what their immediate plans are. We cannot give you specifics of their plans or what they have already done, however. The specifics are not for you to know yet. What we will tell you is what you can know so far about the extraterrestrial situation, a situation that is unfolding every day. The closer you get to the inevitable meeting with extraterrestrials, the more you will be able to know about their plan — their vision. For now, we will tell you only as much as we can.
